How it Works
Tiered Funding Structure
Tiered funding ensures that organizations of all sizes—including small rural school districts, single-county ESDs, and larger community colleges—can access meaningful resources. Organizations request only what their action plan requires and are not obligated to draw the maximum award.

Active strategy implementation, snapshot survey, TA check-in, adaptation, Journey to Wellness conference

Embedding practices institutionally, post-survey, sustainability planning, lessons-learned documentation
Up to 20% of total award
Unspent funds over $1,000 are returned to the Initiative at the close of the grant cycle; amounts under $1,000 may be retained by the grantee to sustain wellness efforts. Annual budgets are submitted and reviewed by program staff before each disbursement to ensure alignment with the approved action plan.
