PLEASE NOTE:

Wellable’s Health Coaching program is designed to support participants in achieving their self-identified health and well-being goals through evidence-based behavior-change strategies, accountability, motivation, and education. Coaches serve as partners in helping individuals build sustainable habits related to areas such as physical activity, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and overall well-being.

Health coaches operate within a clearly defined scope of practice; health coaches do not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, interpret medical test results, or replace the role of a physician or other licensed healthcare provider. Similarly, health coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. Coaches do not provide clinical mental health services or address issues that require licensed therapeutic intervention.

When a participant’s needs fall outside the coaching scope, such as medical concerns, behavioral health conditions, or other clinical issues, coaches are trained to encourage the individual to seek support from the appropriate healthcare professional, employee assistance program (EAP), or other qualified resources. This approach ensures participants receive support that is both effective and aligned with professional standards while allowing coaches to remain focused on behavior change, goal attainment, and well-being improvement.
